GODIAG V600- BM Diagnose FEM/BDC Module with GODIAG FEM/BDC Test Platform

It has been tested and verified by eobdtool.co.uk engineer that GODIAG V600- BM can perfectly diagnose BMW FEM/BDC module with GODIAG FEM/BDC Programming Test Platform.

Case:
After press [F1] reset button on GODIAG V600 BM, it needs to update the license, otherwise the car cannot be tested.

Solution:
Use GODIAG FEM/BDC Test Platform to supply power to V600 BMW, and connect with FEM/BDC module and V600- BM to update V600 BM license and check if the BMW diagnosis function is normal.

All devices required:
GODIAG V600- BM diagnostic tool with BMW ICOM software
GODIAG Test Platform for BMW FEM/ BDC Programming (with OBD2-DB25 cable)
BMW FEM/BDC module (has removed from the car)
Computer with network cable

Connection:
First, connect CON7, CON8 and Power connector of GODIAG FEM/BDC Test Platform to the corresponding positions of BMW FEM/BDC module
Next, connect V600-BM with GODIAG FEM Test Platform via the OBD2- DB25 cable
Finally, connect V600 BM with computer via the network cable

Main operation steps:
Step 1: Open ITOOL Radar software to check the license status
Step 2: Open STTech.AnyVCI.UpdaterStarter.exe to update V600- BM license
Step 3: Open ITOOL Radar software again to check the newest license info
Step 4: Run BMWGroup ISTA software to diagnose FEM/BDC module

Step 1: Open ITOOL Radar software to check the license status

The V600-BM has been connected to the computer. When you open the iToolRadar software, the active services will show “any- vci” service. So you need to update the license, otherwise the car cannot be tested.

Step 2: Open STTech.AnyVCI.UpdaterStarter.exe to update V600- BM license
You can log in with an available account. If you don’t have an account, you need to register first.
Click “Register a new user” and enter the full user info incl. user name (email), password and your V600-BM SN and product key.
Then click “Register” to finish the registration job

Note: The serial number and product key can be found in the password paper which comes with the GODIAG V600-BM package.
Connect your V600-BM, click “Yes”.
When the device has been connected successfully, click “Advanced features” to update the license and wait till it’s done.

Step 3: Open ITOOL Radar software again to check the newest license info
Now V600 BM has been updated, and it adds the BMW- VCI@ICOM service with “Free” status and ivm.connector services in the “Active Service”. It means the license of V600 BMW is normal and the car can be tested now.

Step 4: Run BMWGroup ISTA software to diagnose FM/BDC module
Select Operations-> Read Out Vehicle Data-> Complete identification

The related GODIAG V600- BM info appears on the screen, including device ID, color, type, VIN, connection, KL15 [V] and state info, click “Set up connection” to continue

It shows the ISTA workshop system operating warning, just click “OK” to the next step
Read out current vehicle details

Show the corresponding control unit tree
Click “Display fault memory” to see the specific fault codes
And then click “Calculate test plan” to view the related service plan

Result: GODIAG V600 BM with BMW ICOM software can successfully diagnose FEM/BDC module and quickly read fault codes after updating license using GODIAG BMW FEM/BDC programming Test Platform.
