FormulaFlash has officially released software update V1.2.0.0, marking a major breakthrough for BMW ECU tuning and bench programming. This update enables direct Bench Mode unlock, reading, writing, and checksum calculation for locked Bosch MD1 and MG1 (DDE8/DME8) engine control units used across popular BMW G-series models—all without opening the ECU cover or mailing the unit out for unlocking.
What’s New in Formula Flash V1.2.0.0?
- No ECU Opening Required:Full Bench mode operation through the connector pins; no cover removal or pin soldering.
- No Mail-in Unlock Needed:Bypasses the need for third-party mail-in unlocking services for supported controllers.
- Direct Bench Mode Operations:Complete BENCH Unlock, DFLASH/PFLASH (FLASH & EEPROM) Read/Write, and automatic Checksum verification.
