Korhex continues to expand the capabilities of Flex ECU programmer with new Boot Glitch procedures for protected control units. With Flex software updates 8.15.0.0 and 8.16.0.0, Korhex now supports DAF Delphi ETC3 UDS control units and Bosch MG1CA920 SPC58N ECUs used on BRP Group Rotax engines. These new solutions allow workshops to perform advanced ECU unlocking directly on-site, without sending control units to external laboratories or performing complex PCB modifications.
1.Unlock DAF Delphi ETC3 UDS ECUs with Korhex
With Flex version 8.15.0.0, Korhex introduces support for DAF Delphi ETC3 UDS control units in Boot Glitch mode.
Previously, unlocking procedures for these protected ECUs could require external services. With Flex and Korhex, technicians can now complete the unlocking process directly in their own workshop and continue immediately with ECU programming.
Korhex uses EMFI technology to perform the Boot Glitch procedure by acting on the processor, allowing access to the ECU without traditional external intervention.
The dedicated accessories included in the Korhex kit provide a stable and accurate connection, helping technicians complete the procedure with fewer preparation steps.

2.Korhex Adds Support for Bosch MG1CA920 SPC58N ECUs
With Flex software version 8.16.0.0, Korhex expands its compatibility to the new-generation SPC58N microprocessor family.
A new dedicated procedure is now available for the Bosch MG1CA920 control unit used on BRP Group Rotax engines.
Thanks to the combination of Flex and Korhex, technicians can access this ECU through a simplified workflow. There is no longer a need for traditional PCB preparation methods such as resistor removal or manual Boot point soldering on supported procedures.
The operation becomes faster and more straightforward:
- Position Korhex on the specified MCU contact point.
- Follow the guided Flex procedure.
- Perform the SPC58N unlocking operation.
- Continue with ECU programming through Flex.
This reduces manual operations and allows workshops to manage the complete unlocking process independently.
