Important Notes:
A valid BMW G-Chassis subscription is required.
Key data is read from the key itself (not the BDC3 module) for enhanced security.
Only Autel BMW iKey universal smart keys are supported.
Compatibility is currently limited to certain BDC3 models.
Higher success rates observed with 2020–2024 keys marked “Hungary” in the upper right corner.
Steps to Add BMW BDC3 Key by Autel key programmer:
Enter Smart Mode → Scan BDC3 Immobilizer → Choose “Add Key”
Step 1: Read vehicle information
Step 2: Read key data (requires disassembling the original key)
Three ways are available to connect the key with XP400 Pro:
1.Use APB113 adapter (recommended)
It is included in the IMKPA Kit.
2.Use Wiring harness
3.Use Solder-free clip
Then connect Autel APB113 adapter to XP400 Pro to read key data
Step 3: Generate dealer key (Autel BMW iKey only)
Place the key on the coil of Autel XP400 Pro and follow prompts to start generating key.
