Q1: Can the MS906BT set the fuel sync on a Dodge Ram truck?

A1: Yes. MS906BT can reset the fuel sync on all the vehicles in the following sheet except 4.0 (98 JTEC) and 5.9 HD JTEC+99.

Q2: Can I adjust the speed limiter Dodge Ram 3500 2017 with the MS906BT?

A2: Yes. If you look for a function called set maximum vehicle speed, MS906BT is a good choice for people who work on fleets. If you have a bunch of fleets that are using this tool you know type of truck, you can adjust speed limiter on it.

 

Q3: Can you do variable valve test on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler with the MS906BT?

A3: Yes. Go to TCM module under special functions, you’ll see the variable valve timing option.

 

Q4: I just purchased 2015 Dodge Ram and I need to change the pressure thresh hold on the rear tires as my TPMS light has been on ever since I changed the tires. Does the MS906BT have this feature?

A4: Yes. Go to control unit and look for the body control module once you locate, there should be a button called special functions, and you’ll see a pressure threshold icon and then follow the steps to configure the feature on the MS906BT.

 

Q5: I have a Nissan Maxima 2017 and I’d like to know if the MS906BT can force write a VIN number to a used ECU module. I also worked on a lot of Nissans and I needed civility to write VIN number, can MS906BT do it?

A5: Yes. MaxiSys MS906BT supports writing VIN number. As long as the car will accept that VIN writing procedure, please go to control unit and then the engine control module you should find. But MS906BT can’t facilitate forced VIN writing procedures.
