The ECU Flash function is available for Launch X431 PAD V LINK HD, X431 PRO3 SE HD, X431 V+ SmartLink HD (PRO3 LINK HD), X431 PRO3S+ SmartLink HD and other PRO3 series HD tablets now. It is used to read and write heavy-duty truck ECU. Some tools include this function by default, while others require a separate purchase of ECU Flash software from the Mall.

Other PRO3 series tablets have been updated to X-431 HD APP, same as X-431 PRO3 SE HD

How to configure file to get ECU Flash function?
The X431 PAD V LINK HD and PRO3 series HD tablets do not display the “Online Programming”, “(ECU Flash) diagnostic software” and the “Flash Data Management” functions in the device APP.
All need to modify the configuration file.

- For X-431 PRO3 SE HD/X-431 PRO3 LINK HD/X-431 PRO3S+ SmartLink HD

Modified parameters:
-> OnlineFlash=0；Flash=0；
Note:
1).Overseas configurations are preset to 0 by default.
To enable Online Programming, users must manually change the value to 1.
2).If the parameters OnlineFlash or Flash are missing from the document:
Directly add “OnlineFlash=1; Flash=1;” at the end of the file.
After modifying the parameter to “OnlineFlash=1; Flash=1;” the online programming (ECU Flash) function will display on the APP.
- X-431 HD APP：
Display “ECU Flash” diagnostic software under the traditional diagnose/Manufacturer menu
Display “Flash Data Management” function in the “More”
- X-431 APP：
Display “ECU Flash” diagnostic software under the “Local Diagnosis/HD/ALL” menu
Display “Flash Data Management” function in the “Toolbox”
