Autel Integrates NASTF SDRM Validation into IM508 IM608 KM100

Dear Autel Customers,

To address the latest vehicle anti-theft governance and automotive cybersecurity compliance requirements in North America, the automotive aftermarket has fully implemented the NASTF SDRM (Secure Data Release Model) validation mechanism as a mandatory industry standard.

To ensure that Autel products continue to operate legally and compliantly within North America, Autel will roll out SDRM compliance adaptations for our key programming and immobilizer diagnostic tools in a phased approach.

The upgrade will be rolled out in batches to ensure a smooth transition:

On September 1, 2026:MaxiIM KM100 will be the first to enable the mandatory NASTF SDRM validation.
Subsequent Phases:Adaptation and integration will be gradually implemented across the entire IM508 and IM608 product series.

Fees and Licensing Details

Obtaining and maintaining NASTF SDRM certification is an independent compliance matter for end-users. Users must apply, pay, and renew directly through the official NASTF platform. All rules, verification processes, and fee structures are independently established by NASTF and are completely unrelated to Autel. The validity period for the credentials is two years.
