Xhorse MLB Solder Free Adapter Kit is available at EOBDTool.co.uk now. It is specially designed to work with VVDI MLB Tool for VW, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley and Porsche MLB key programming without soldering. Just need to remove 2 capacitors using a plier. Much easier and safer!
MLB Solder Free Adapter Kit contains 5 types below:
Type 1 Supported Models: Audi, Lamborghini
Type 2 Supported Models: Audi, Lamborghini
Type 3 Supported Models: Audi, Bentley
Type 4 Supported Models: Porsche
Type 6 Supported Models: Volkswagen, Touareg
Connection method:
Step 1: Remove Capacitors from the Original Key
i.e. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad
Connect the Xhorse MLB Tool to VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad using an OTG converter.
- USB A to C Cable is connected to MLB Tool
- USB (OTG) Cable is connected to Key Tool Plus
Navigate to: Immo Programming>> Audi >> Select by Type>> MLB Immobilizer Systems
Select the corresponding key type and check the wiring diagram.
Remove the two capacitors from the original key as indicated in the diagram.
Step 2: Connect the MLB Solder-Free Adapter to Original MLB Key Board
Align the pins on the adapter with the contacts marked on the wiring diagram.
Fasten the buckle securely:
The short side of the buckle should face upwards.
The long side, marked in white, should face downwards.
Step 3: Connect MLB Adapter to MLB Tool
Attach the Xhorse MLB Adapter to the key.
Connect the MLB Adapter to the MLB Tool, ensuring proper orientation.
Ensure the adapter ends up in the sensing area for accurate detection.
Step 4: Add a Spare MLB Key
Now, follow the key programming guide below to add a spare MLB key.
(Just skip the soldering steps if you’re using the solder-free adapter)
