ScaniaVCI2 truck diagnostic software SDP3 (Scania Diagnose and Programmer) has just updated to V2.23 without USB dongle. SDP3 is a PC-based diagnostics application software for Scania trucks, bus chassis and Scania engines.

How to install Scania VCI 2 SDP3 V2.23 software step-by-step?
Easy 6 steps:
1) Install NET Framework
Open DVD Drive(E:)scania 2.23
Install “.NET Framework4.5.1(if need)” setup
Accept license agreement
Click “Install”
Installation is complete. Click “Finish”
2) Install Adobe Reader 9.2
Open “AdbeRdr920-en-US” setup on DVD
Click “Install”
Setup completed. Click “Finish”
3) Install SDP 2.23 setup
Copy and paste Scania 2.23 zip file to desktop
Extract the 2.23 rar. file
Open the “SDP3 2.23.0.268” application on the folder
Click “Next”
Accept license agreement
Browse folder to “C:/Program Files/Scania/SDP3”
Click “Install”
Make sure that the VCI unit and the SDP3 USB key are disconnected from the computer before continuing installation. Click “OK”
SDP 2.23 setup completed. Click “Finish”
4) Copy Scania VCI2 driver patch
Open “replace patch” folder
Copy and replace all the files in the folder on “C:/Program Files/Scania/SDP3”
Follow this way: Right click SDP3 on desktop>> “Properties”>> Click “Open File Location”>> “Paste” >> “Copy and replace”
5) Connect Scania VCI interface
Connect Scania VCI unit with computer
Open My Computer>>Device Manager>> CAN Hardware (Kvaser)>>Scania VCI2 to check well communication is built
6) Run Scania SDP3 2.23 software
Open SDP3 software on desktop
Click “Yes” when system pops up Warning message
