It has been confirmed by OBDSTAR Tech that 2017 Ford Mondeo Proximity Key (all keys lost) can be programmed by using OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus with the professional Ford ALK cable and OBDSTAR P002 Adapter. No need to repeatedly disconnect or connect battery cables!

Open the hood of the car
Follow the wiring diagram as below to connect Ford ALK cable to the vehicle and X300 DP Plus
Tap “DP” to enter the main menu
Select IMMO-> America-> FORD/LINCOLN/MERCURY-> FORD/LINCOLN/MERCURY S V34.45-> FORD-> ASIA-> MONDEO-> PROXIMITY-> 2015- (MK5)

Select “All Keys Lost” to operate
Note: this function is available by connecting the server. Please ensure the Internet connection is normal.
Confirm whether the P002 adapter, ALK for Ford cable have been correctly connected to the vehicle

Then switch ignition off
Read out the vehicle info incl. VIN, Key count, etc.
Insert the key into the card slot, the position is as follows:
1.In the armrests
2.Glove compartment
Check if the alarm active
-Click “Enter”
If there is door on the vehicle, you may turn the alarm off by typing in the vehicle door code. If there is door pad, please input door code.
-Click “Esc”
Confirm if load the BCM D- flash (read by a programmer) to continue
-Click “Esc”
Open the driver’s door and use a screwdriver to set the door lock to the lock position (if the door is closed and locked), keep the door in this position until the key is learned.

Pay attention to the following instructions:
- In the following steps, the device will automatically try to disconnect and connect the vehicle battery, please do not perform other operations;
- When the battery is reconnected, the device will try to silence the vehicle alarm, if the operation is not successful, the device will automatically try multiple times;
- In the following operation, you will be able to choose whether to clear the original car key.
Wait for about 10 minutes!
At this stage, the alarm should beep in the first few minutes and then mute. Listen carefully and there will be two beeps after about 10 minutes.
While waiting, please keep quiet as much as possible. Do not touch any sensor on the car. Once you hear two beeps, press [ENTER], otherwise please wait patiently until you hear two beeps and press [ENTER] again.
Confirm if erase all keys of the current vehicle. If yes, at least 2 keys are required to complete the key programming.
-Click “Esc”
Insert a new smart key into the card slot (Edge key placement)
Note Water cup of the glove box close to the cab side, key is to go forward.
When the process is done, it will show “Key Program successful” on the dashboard.
Press the Start/Stop button
The key programming is complete.
