How to get the BMW key code with Autel MaxiIM IM608S II Programmer?
Here we provide 2 ways that can successfully read out BMW key code: Read through OBD or Read through EEPROM.
Method 1. Read via OBD
Plug Autel IM608S II connector into car OBD.

Check the ECU information, we can see the key mechanical code is HA00034520.
We’ll scrap the last digits: 34520
That’s the BMW key code what we’re looking for.
Method2. Read via EEPROM
Key operation >> Key learning >> Make key with file >> 0L15Y/0M23S >> Load EEPROM data file >> OK
Now here we also have the key mechanical code HA00034520.
The BMW key code is same 34520.
That’s it.
