How to clone BMW BDC3 encrypted key by Yanhua ACDP2?

Preparation:
- Yanhua Mini ACDP/ACDP2
- ACDP Module 38 License Activation
- Yanhua ACDP BMW BDC2/BDC3 EncryptedKey Copying Adapter
- New original key for programming
Software Requirements:
Ensure your software is updated to the latest version to access this function.
- ACDP PC Software: Version 1.0.64 or above
- ACDP2 PC Software: Version 2.0.8 or above
- Android App: Version 3.0.141 or above
- iOS App: Version 3.6.4 or above
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1.Prepare BMW BDC3 Key:
Carefully disassemble the BDC3 key casing.
Slide the latch on the interface board to the unlock position.
Align the board’s positioning pins with the corresponding holes on the key’s internal circuit board (PCB).
Firmly press the interface board into place.
Slide the PCB locking latch back to the Lock position to secure the board.
2.Initial Setup & Connection:
Correctly connect ACDP2 unit, BDC3 interface board (with the original key attached), and the adapter cable.
Set the DIP switch on the adapter to BDC3 position.
3.Navigate to Function:
Launch ACDP APP/Software on your device.
Go to: BMW-> FEM/BDC-> IMMO/Mileage->BDC02/BDC03/BCP/LCD key (encrypted chip) ICP Copy Key.
Select the option: BDC03-key (square main chip/encrypted).
4.Read & Backup Original Key Data:
Initiate the process to read data from the original key.
Once complete, verify the displayed key information (VIN, etc.).
Crucially, take a screenshot to back up this data. Note the backup file’s path, date, time, and VIN. Ensure the filename has the “.bin” extension.
5.Program New Key:
After finishing the read process, select the key type to write. Choose Write BDC03 key (encrypted).
Disconnect the original key. Replace it with the new, blank BDC3 key on ACDP BDC3 interface board and reconnect to Yanhua ACDP.
Important: Do not reconnect the original working key at this stage to prevent accidental data erasure, which would render it invalid.
Verify the information for the new key and create a backup of its data as well.
6.Transfer Data & Complete:
Upload the previously saved original key data (the .bin file).
Confirm that the data matches the original key’s information.
Proceed to write this data onto the new BDC3 key.
Upon successful completion, the system will confirm “Write key successfully.”
Yanhua Mini ACDP2 will automatically save the information for the newly programmed key.
