Alientech is enhancing KESS V3 ECU programmer by introducing a new protocol for the widely-used Continental SID212 ECU. Commonly found in numerous diesel applications, such as Ford 2.0 EcoBlue, SID212 is a frequent requirement for tuning and programming specialists.
With this latest update, professionals can now manage Continental SID212 ECUs directly in Bench mode using KESS V3. This eliminates the need to outsource ECUs for unlocking or preparation, bringing the entire process in-house.
This development delivers immediate operational benefits:
- Enhanced Independence: Complete control over the tuning workflow.
- Improved Efficiency: Faster turnaround times by eliminating external dependencies.
- Cost Savings: No additional fees per ECU for external services.
Once connected in bench mode, users can seamlessly perform Virtual Reading and writing operations directly through Alientech Suite.
The protocol is now live for both Master and Slave units, available to all KESS3 users with an active CAR-LCV Boot & Bench activation and subscription.
A Commitment to Workshop Autonomy
This release underscores Alientech’s dedication to providing tuning workshops with the tools they need to operate more independently and efficiently. By removing unnecessary procedural hurdles and hidden costs, the support for Continental SID212 delivers a practical, market-driven solution that aligns with the real-world demands of modern professionals.
The protocol and its accompanying technical documentation are available now within the Alientech Suite.
