This guide explains how to adjust the mileage on Mercedes-Benz HU7 IC177 M (2023+) and IC223 (2020+) using APP2 APPRO2 Key Programmer.
Main Steps:
1.Start the Software
- Open the APPRO2 software.
- Navigate to Car Models → Mercedes-Benz → BENZ Mileage Tool.
- Select HU7 (IC177/IC223) (2023- ) and choose Install HU7 Simulator [0093].
2.Review Setup and Wiring
- Click[Weld (R7F7015xx)] to view the guide and wiring diagrams.
Guide: - Install the HU7 simulator to prevent the instrument cluster from going blank.
- Sync the mileage in the IC223/IC177 cluster with the EZS module.

- Ensure proper connection, including an external 12V power supply to the module.
3.Process the CPU
- Select [Pretreatment CPU (mode 1)]and click Crack to process the data.
4.Extract Data
- Click [Read Config Data]to read and save the IC data.
5.Calculate New Mileage
- Select [Calculate Service Data Online].
- Upload the config data file.
- Enter the desired mileage and the HU7 simulator serial number.
- Click Calculate to generate the new mileage data.
6.Write New Data
- Click[Write Service Data].
- Load the new mileage file and wait for the writing process to complete.
7.Finalize
- Power off the system and exit the service mode.
Note:
The entire process may take some time. Ensure a stable power supply and be patient.
