Yanhua ACDP2 Reset Mercedes- Benz HU6 IC177 Mileage on Bench

As we know, Yanhua ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 37 can correct the mileage for the MB HU6 instrument module (A167/ A213 / A247) equipped with the R7F701403 chip. However, previously, it was necessary to install the original HU6 module in the vehicle and perform mileage modification via OBD. Now, Yanhua Tech has released the MB HU6 YH-OBD Platform, eliminating this requirement and enabling direct bench operation for a more convenient and efficient process.

Supported vehicle models:

  • Mercedes-Benz W247 A/B/CLA/GLA/GLB after 2019
  • Mercedes-Benz W177 CLA/GLA after 2019
  • Mercedes-Benz 167 GLE/GLS after 2019
  • Mercedes-Benz W213 E/CLS after 2020
  • Mercedes-Benz H243 EQA and X243 EQB after 2021

 

How to reset mileage for MB HU6 (A167/A213/A247) on Bench?

1.Tools requirement:

Yanhua Mini ACDP-1/ACDP-2+ Yanhua Module 37+ Yanhua MB HU6 YH-OBD Platform

 

2.Mini ACDP APP menu path:

Make sure the ACDP device is bound to ACDP APP/software

Navigate to Benz>> HU6 ODO Module (IC177) mileage correction>> R7F701403 (A167/A213/A247)>> OBD+ICP reset mileage>> Original module (YH platform)

Then perform the three steps below one by one.

  • Step 1: OBD backup data
  • Step 2: ICP modify data
  • Step 3: OBD modify mileage

3.Connection method:

Step 1: OBD backup data

  • Prepare Yanhua ACDP key programmer, 20 PIN cable, BENZ-HU6-OBD platform, and MB HU6 instrument module
  • Align the interface board with the instrument interface and install it, and push the interface board switch toward the CAN-R

Step 2: ICP modify data

  • Prepare Yanhua ACDP Module 37(BENZ-HU6- R7F701403 Interface board +MQB V2 adapter+ 20 PIN cable), Mini ACDP2, and 20 PIN cable
  • Based on the probe of the interface board, determine the installation area of the interface board on the instrument
  • Find the correct positioning holes of D1-D5 on the instrument
  • Check the test point pin definition
  • Align the interface board probe with the probe hole on the odometer board
  • Press down on the interface board, push the PCB lock buckle to the locked position to lock the interface board, installation is done
  • Overall connection diagram
