Step-by-Step Guide to Correct HU6 Cluster Mileage by CG100X:
Step 1: Record Original Mileage
Before starting, record the current mileage (e.g., 564.1 km).
Step 2: Remove and Inspect the HU6 Instrument Module
Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle.
Disassemble and check both front and back sides.
Step 3: Identify and Connect to the Processor
The mileage data is stored in the R7F701403 (encrypted) processor.
Open CG100X software and select:
Dashboard → Europe → Mercedes → GLE W167 → 2019 → R7F701403 (encrypted)
Follow the wiring diagram for proper connections.
Step 4: Connect the Module to CG100X
- Use the Pro V2 Adapter to connect the Benz HU6 module to CG100X.
- Remove three capacitors(220nf each) around the processor as shown in the wiring diagram.
- Connect theD1 adapter (Do not extend the wire harness).
- Provide DC 12V power supply.
Step 5: Perform Mileage Correction
1️⃣ Start the operation
2️⃣ Decrypt the chip & chip ID
3️⃣ Read and save DFlash & PFlash data
4️⃣ CGDI CG100X Programmer will automatically calculate the mileage online
5️⃣ Enter the desired new mileage (e.g., 2,345 km)
6️⃣ Write the new mileage to the module
Step 6: Verify and Reassemble
Check the mileage again – it should now display 2,345 km.
Resolder the three capacitors to restore the module to its original state.
Reinstall the HU6 module into the vehicle.
