Magic Motorsport Flex version 8.17.0.0 now supports Boot Glitch operations on Mercedes Bosch MD1CP001 and MG1CP002 ECUs with SPC5777 processors through Korhex and EMFI technology.
The update allows technicians to access supported Mercedes ECUs without soldering the PCB or removing components.
What’s New in Flex 8.17.0.0?
With Korhex, the Boot Glitch procedure uses EMFI (Electromagnetic Fault Injection) technology to access the SPC5777 microprocessor.
The workflow is guided directly by Flex:
1.Place Korhex Boot Glitch Unlock Tool on the ECU.
2.Follow the procedure shown by Flex.
3.Perform the Boot Glitch operation.
4.Access the SPC5777 processor for ECU data operations.
This eliminates the need to solder directly to the PCB or remove components from the ECU.
