Both VXDIAG VCX SE and JLR Mongoose SDD Pro can be J2534 Passthru hardware to work with Godiag GT107+ DSG Plus Adapter and pcmflash software 1.20 to read VAG DQ200 and DQ250 gearbox TCU data. No need to press GT107+ analog ignition switch button early, just press it according to the software prompt during the operation.

- VAG DQ200 and DQ250 gearbox TCU
How to connect device and gearbox?
- Godiag GT107+ and VCX SE:
Plug the PCMTuner USB Dongle to computer
Connect VCX SE J2534 hardware to computer via USB cable, and connect to GT107+ Adapter directly
Connect GT107+ and DQ200/DQ250 gearbox via the DB9 DSG gearbox universal conversion jumper
Plug the power supply to GT107+
Press 120 ohm CAN resistance switch
Plug the PCMTuner USB Dongle to computer
Connect JLR Mongoose SDD to computer and GT107+ DSG Plus Adapter directly
Connect GT107+ and DQ200/DQ250 gearbox via the Godiag universal conversion jumper
Plug the power supply to GT107+
Press 120 ohm CAN resistance switch
How to read VAG DQ200/DQ250 data?
After connection, run pcmflash software directly, no need to connect network
The interface is different when using different J2534 devices
For VCX SE, select J2534: VXDIAG-J2534
For Mongoose Pro JLR, select J2534: Drew Technologies Inc.- Mongoose Pro JLR
Then select ECU- [58]: VAG DQ200/MQB Boot (EEPROM) or ECU- [58]: VAG DQ250 E/F/MQB Boot
Click “Identification” to identify the gearbox TCU info
When it asks “Would you like to use automatic power control (L-Line)?”
Click “No”
Follow the prompt to press GT107+ ignition switch button. It’s recommended to stay 2 seconds and then press. And then turn ECU power OFF.
After the TCU is identified, click “Read”, and follow the prompt to read and backup data.
