How to Solve BMW 6WA 160DWT Red Dot Tamper Problem after Mileage Correction?

Problem:

Used 6WA for BMW with 160DWT eeprom was read with CG Pro 9S12, i did mileage correction and erased VIN and installed in car. Cluster was coded, no red dot but every time i turn ignition on mileage increases with 5 Km without Red Dot Tamper. Any ideas?

The possible cause:

You broke the eep. Check first two Lines, one bit is twisted. Bad eeprom now.

 

The solution:

You need VVDI Prog full read (data+ chip ID) and use a new blank eeprom from Xhorse. This way you won’t have red dot and mileage will sync with CAS. I don’t know why CG Pro does that but manage to solve the problem the way i’ve described.
