I wanted to use the BMW BDC2 and V2 MQB 5D functions by Lonsdor K518 Pro, but the device appeared the authorization warning “Please contact local distributor to renew annual license and unlock this function”. Do I need to buy software update service or BDC2/VW license?
Solution:
It depends on what version of your K518 Pro is.
For FULL version, you can directly purchase the annual subscription package
For FCV version, need to buy BMW BDC2/BDC3/BCP/LCD License and VW 5C/5D License.
