GODIAG KVM RFA JLR Communication Cable is specially designed to enable communication between diagnostic equipment and the KVM RFA module. This post will explain how to use it.
GODIAG KVM RFA 2-in-1 Communication Cable has two ends:
- One end is for -2017 JLR KVM modules
- The other end is for 2018-2025 KVM modules
If you have done something to the KVM module, connect the KVM module with diagnostic tool to test the KVM communication status.
Purpose:
Verify KVM module communication status after servicing (e.g., soldering, MCU replacement) or before installation.
⚠ Important Notes:
- Not for key programming (cannot read/write KVM data).
- Pre-2017 vehicles: Key matching requires soldering wires to the KVM RFA module.
- 2018-2025 vehicles: Key matching requires MCU replacement.
- Risk of communication loss if procedures are mishandled—always test connectivity before module installation
