Lonsdor K518 Pro Update BMW BDC3 VAG MQB49 5C 5D Function

In February 2026, Lonsdor released a major update for K518 Pro series. This update introduces key programming support for BMW G/U chassis modules (BDC2, BDC3, BCP, LCD) and adds key addition functionality for VAG MQB49 5C and 5D systems.

License Activation Requirements

For Lonsdor K518 Pro Full Version (Annual Subscription):

If your device has an active annual subscription, no additional license activation is required.
If your subscription has expired, simply renew it to regain access to these functions.

For Lonsdor K518 Pro FCV Users:

Unlike the full version, FCV users must activate licenses separately for:

BMW BDC2/BDC3/BCP/LCD
VAG MQB49 5C/5D

BMW BDC2/BDC3/BCP/LCD License

Includes 160 credits (~$23 USD)
Previously purchased BMW BDC2/3/BCP licenses (valued at $30) have been automatically upgraded to include LCD support.

VW 5C/5D & AUDI/PORSCHE 5D License

Includes 160 credits (Approx. $23 USD)
Credits are used to read/copy OEM key data.
Purchase additional credits through authorized distributors or swap points via the Lonsdor APP (100:1 ratio).

Credit Usage Notes:

Credits are required for both K518 PRO FCV and Full version users to:

Read encrypted OEM data from BDC2 modules
Generate dealer keys for MQB49 5C/5D systems

10% of credits used are earned back per successful operation (1 free use for every 10 paid uses).

Functions marked with a red credit icon indicate that credits are required to proceed.

SFD Security Gateway Unlock (2023+ VAG Models)

Lonsdor supports unlocking the SFD (SFD) security gateway on newer VAG vehicles (2023+). However, users must obtain the required unlock code from a third-party provider. This code is not generated by Lonsdor K518 Pro itself.
