OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool with the newest software ECM V30.23 can clone Bosch ME17 and ME17.8.8 ECMs on bench perfectly.
Something important to know:
- OBDSTAR P003 Kit is required to work together.
- Keep DC706 charging and communicating during the process, and make sure the internet connection is normal.
- Update the ECM software to V30.23 (newest version)
Menu Path:
Select ECU Flasher>> All>> ECM>> ECM V30.23>> ECU Brand>> BOSCH
Input me17 in the search box to quickly find out the ECM model as below
- BAIC BOSCH ME17 BLACK TC1728 (BENCH+ P003)
- BAIC BOSCH ME17.8.8 TC1728 (BENCH+ P003)
Connection:
Tap “Pinout” to check the wiring diagram, and follow it to connect OBDSTAR DC706 tablet, P003 Adapter and ECU bench cables, and ECM correctly
For ME17 ECM:
For ME17.8.8 ECM:
After connecting ME17 ECM, need to select TYPE>> ME17>> GAC BOSCH ME17 TC1728 (BENCH+ P003), then click “Start” to enter the operation interface
For ME17.8.8, just click “Start” to next step
Clone BOSCH ME17/ME17.8.8 ECM:
1.Click “Connect” to connect OBDSTAR P003 Adapter, DC706, ECU…
Connection is successful.
2.Read INT EEPROM and INT Flash separately, save the original data after reading
3.Connect DC706 to new ECM via the OBDSTAR P003 Adapter Kit and main cable
Select the corresponding INT EEPROM/ Flash file to write into new Bosch ECM in sequence
After all read and write operations are completed, disconnect the OBDSTAR DC706 system.
