Here are two ways to use the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad and MLB Tool MQB48 Adapter.

Method 1: Direct Connection

1. Bind the VVDI MLB Tool to the Xhorse Key Tool Plus.
2. Use a Dual USB-C splitter cable to connect the MLB Tool with VVDI Key Tool Plus.
3. Ensure power supply to both the MLB device and MQB48 adapter.
4. Navigation path:

• IMMO Programming→ VW → Select by type → MQB Instrument IMMO System → NEC35xx (Continental/VDO) → Collect Key Data
• Note: A network connection is required for this function.

Method 2: Using File Transfer (Recommended)

1. Use the Xhorse MQB48 Adapter and MLB Tool on a PC to calculate MQB48 key data.
2. Transfer the saved IMMO file from the PC to the VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad using USB or Xhorse iCloud Data Center.

3. On the Key Tool Plus:

• Navigate to MQB48 Menu→ Load IMMO Data → Generate Dealer Key → Learn Key.

Conclusion:
