How to Set Up Your FCA SGW License
Step 1: Register Your License
To get started, you need to register. You can do this in two ways:
Go to: www.launcheurope.de/sgw–login and click Register.
Or, on your Launch X431 tool, go to:
More > Licenses > Use Software Card > SGW User Authentication > Register.
Fill out the form. Your information will be checked, but you can continue with activation while waiting.
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
To confirm who you are:
- Take a photo of your ID card next to your Launch device.
- Upload the photo.
Do not use large scans (like A4 paper scans). Too much background can hide your ID details.

Step 3: Activate Your License
How you activate depends on your license key:
If your key starts with: FCA, MESGW, SGWP, POAL, or POAT
Go to: More > Licenses > Use Software Card > SGW User Authentication and log in.
Choose Security Gateway Activation Form, fill it out, and send it.
Check your status under Status Inquiry.
For any other license key:
Go to: More > Licenses > Use Software Card.
Enter your key and tap Confirm.
If you see an “SGW User Authentication” error, your account may not be verified. Check your email for messages from us.
Helpful Tips:
You may see terms like SGW Login or PARTICLE – these are normal.
Always update your Launch X431 scan tool and software to avoid problems.
