Alientech KESS3 now supports reading and writing locked Bosch MD1CP017 ECUs found in 2021+ Jaguar and Land Rover 2.0 D165 and D200 MHEV diesel models. With the latest KESS3 software 3.63 and Unlock Module, you can now perform this function via bench and boot mode easily.

Step-by-Step Procedure
- BOOT Mode Unlock:
- Connect the ECU using BOOT protocols along with KESS3 Unlock Module.
- Run the unlock procedure to bypass OEM protection.
- BENCH Mode Reading & Writing:
- Disconnect BOOT wiring and switch to BENCH mode wiring.
- Connect KESSV3 directly to the ECU connector pins.
- Perform full data reading or writing.
- Subsequent Service:
- Any future ECU modifications can be completed directly in BENCH mode without re-opening the ECU shell.
