OBDSTAR DC706 works well with GUZZI Marelli MIU G4 95640 Motorcycle ECM. It can read ECU info, read & write EEPROM and reset ECU (Virgin) on bench without any issue.
All device & accessories required:
- OBDSTAR DC706 main unit
- Main cable
- OBDSTAR P004 adapter+ P004 Jumper
- 12V2A Charger
- GUZZI Marelli MIU G4 ECM
Operation guide:
Turn on OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Programmer tablet
Select ECU Flasher>> All>> ECM (Moto) >> ECM V30.00 (the newest software version)
Input miu in the search box to find the ECM model quickly
Select Moto Guzzi Marelli MIU G4 95640 (BENCH)
Click Pinout to check the related wiring diagram, then follow it to connect device, accessories and ECM correctly.
- Connect P004 jumper with MIU G4 ECM
- Connect the other end of P004 jumper to P004 adapter
- Connect the other end of P004 adapter to DC706 main unit via the main cable
- Connect 12V2A charger to DC706
- Turn on the start button on P004 adapter and push the number key to ON status
Connect internet with good signal on computer
Click OK
Click Start on the tablet interface
To perform this function needs internet, please make sure the tablet connect to network with good signal.
Read ECU info
Read out the drawing number, HW number, HW version, calibration, SW version, Homologation No, ISO code, Prog Date and NIP code
Read eeprom (95640)
After reading eeprom successfully, input a file name to save it.
Write eeprom (95640)
This function will cause risks, non-professionals shall carefully perform.
Confirm to write the data of Hex Editor
Select the original MIUG4 EEPROM data just saved to write into new ECM
Write eeprom successfully
