Operation guide:
Connect VAPON VP996 and the vehicle via the OBD cable
Turn on the device
Enter “IMMO” function
Select North American>> Ford>> USA>> Explorer>> 2011-2015
There are two key types for selection: normal key and smart key.
Select “Normal Key”
Then select Immobilizer (CAN)
Click “Key Count” to check the current key numbers
Turn the ignition on, the learned key number is 5
Then select “Key Programming”
Insert the key to be learned and turn the ignition on
Cofigure the system… please wait a moment…
Turn the ignition off and then on again
Learning key…
Learning is successful, the key number is 6 now.
Check the key count again, it’s also 6.
