VAPON VP996 programmed 2020 Toyota Prius Prime proximity key successfully. A working smart key is required.
The operation process:
Use the OBD cable to connect VAPON VP996 key programmer and vehicle
Tap IMMO>> ASIA>> Manual Selection>> JAPAN>> PRIUS PHA>> 2009/12- >> Smart Key>> Keyless System
Check the number of keys, and add smart key.
First, check the number of keys
Turn the ignition on
Read the current key number is 1.
Then, add smart key
All keys lost are not supported in this function, and need to use the working key.
Finally, use the key to start the car and test the remote.
Each step must be completed within the specified time.
The positions for learning include: 6.
Put a learned smart key close to the START button…
And put a smart key to be learned close to the START button…
Now the current key number becomes to 2.
Key learning is successful with VAPON VP996 auto key programmer.
Finally, using the new key learned to test the car, works fine.
