Lonsdor K518 Pro Failed to Copy File Solution

One customer gave feedback that he failed to update his Lonsdor K518 Pro Key Programmer. He checked the network was fine, and he tried many times but it still didn’t work, and received an error message “Failed to Copy File” shown in the figure below.

This issue arises from a kernel upgrade failure, but there’s no need to upgrade the kernel unless instructed. If necessary, Lonsdor Tech will provide the kernel upgrade file for manual installation.

To resolve the issue, simply update your K518 Pro using the one-click update function as follows:

1. Go to the main menu and select ‘One Click Update’.

2. In the next interface, choose ‘One Click Update’ again.

3. The database download will begin automatically.

4. Wait until the upgrade process is completed.

The device will be fully updated and ready for use!
