How to use OBDSTAR MS80 to test all systems for Motorcycle?
Here take 2015 BMW R1200 Motorbike as an example.
Operation:
Plug main cable to OBDSTAR MS80 diagnostic scanner-> connect main cable with M040 adapter for BMW-> connect to BMW motorcycle
Start motorcycle
Operate MS80 tablet-> Enter [Moto Diag]-> Select [Europe] -> [BMW]-> [BMW version]-> Auto identify [VIN]
Read out VIN code
Then it will test all functions for BMW all systems incl. ENG, ABS, TPMS, Alarm, CIP-Special settings and Chassis management system, instrument panel, Service system [Service lamp reset] and Suspensions.
Select each BMW system and model to test in sequence and perform the functions as below successfully.
- Read out ECU info
- Read fault codes
- Erase fault codes
- Read data flow: Value live data and state live data
- Active Test: Fuel pump
- Special function
