All tools need:
2018 BMW S1000R Motorbike (Engine type: 104EE, Made in Germany)
OBDSTAR MS80 Motorcycle Diagnostic Scanner full package
Connection:
Use the main cable to connect OBDSTAR MS80 to the OBD2 port of 2018 BMW S1000R Motorbike (located under the back seat)
Operation:
Step 1: Turn on the ignition of the Motor and the MS80 tablet will start automatically
Step 2: Tap “DP” – > “Moto Diag” -> “Europe” -> “BMW” -> “BMW V30.02”
Step 3: Select “Auto identify (VIN)”
It will identify the VIN code and then you need to confirm the correctness.
If it’s correct, press “Enter” to continue
Step 4: Then it will enter all of the following systems one by one: ENG, ABS, CIP-Special Settings, Instrument Panel, Service system (Service Lamp Reset), Suspensions.
Step 5: What can OBDSTAR MS80 Motorcycle scanner do after entering the following systems:
ENG: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow, active test, special function such as throttle valve adaptation values reset, gear position adaptation values reset, etc
ABS: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow, active test and special function.
Clip-Special Settings: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow, active test.
Instrument Panel: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow.
Service system (Service Lamp reset): ECU information, read data flow and special function.
Suspension: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow and special function.
