We are excited to announce that AutoTuner now supports remote unlocking for Bosch MD1CP001 (MRD1) and MG1CP002 (MRG1) ECUs, used in recent Mercedes-Benz models. This process is performed without physically opening the ECU unit.

- Brand: Bosch
- Models: MD1CP001 (MRD1), MG1CP002 (MRG1)
- Supported Method: Bench programming (performed after the remote unlock)
How it works?
1.Eligibility Check: First, use the BENCH identification feature on your AutoTuner ECU programmer to confirm that your ECU is compatible with this service.
2.Ship the ECU: Send your intact, unopened ECU to the Autotuner service center for the remote unlock procedure.
3.Unlock & Return: Autotuner team will perform the remote unlock and return your ECU to you, ready for subsequent BENCH and OBD read/write operations using your AutoTuner tool.
⚠️ Important Note:
Please be aware that the remote unlock process will restore the ECU to its original factory state. Any existing tuning files will be permanently erased.
Good to Know:
A dealership software update does not affect this service. ECUs that have received official updates remain eligible for the remote unlock.
