Step 1: Prepare and Set Up Fixture
Get the Key Ready: Utilize Yanhua ACDP Btool BCP Key Cutting Kits to start the process of opening the BCP key’s inner shell.
Unfasten the Clip: Open the key clip located on the fixture to get it ready for the key.
Set the Key: Match the key’s logo button with the inner column of the key clip.
Fix the Key in Place: Firmly position the key inside the tool. Ensure the limiting hole on the key matches up with the limiting pin on the fixture.
Fasten the Fixture: Close the clip securely so the key is held firmly.
Get Ready for Rear Cutting: Move the key clip (with the key inside) onto the key clip base plate. Tighten the nut to keep it stable.
Step 2: Cut Key Shell Rear Side
Note: The fixture is constructed to reveal solely the ultrasonic welding area on the side frame plastic.
First Blade Placement: Begin cutting the inner shell from the rear. Line up the blade’s far-left edge with the far-right edge of the opening, and slide it into the crevice.
Initial Hammer Strike: Gently tap the blade with a hammer. Cease tapping once the blade has advanced to the locking notch.
Set the Correct Angle: Put the blade into the blade holder. Adjust the blade to a 20-degree angle and line it up with the welded seam.
Sever the Weld: Tap the upper-right section of the blade using the hammer to slice through the weld seam.
Step 3: Detailed Cutting Using a Scalpel
Change Tools: When the cut advances to the fixture’s groove, put aside the blade and continue the work using a scalpel.
Place the Scalpel: Keep the scalpel with its blade pointing to the right. Gently push the scalpel’s tip straight down into the groove.
Gain Mechanical Advantage: Shift the scalpel sideways so the blade’s back rests firmly against the left-side bevel.
Go Through the Shell: Tap the scalpel with the hammer until the blade cuts through and reaches the shell’s interior base.
Step 4: Cut Key Shell Front Side
Spot the Crucial Zones: Observe the indicators on the stickers. Take note of the three particular grooves that require cutting.
Warning: Refrain from cutting the groove that the sticker marks.
Slice the Front Parts: First, cut the three marked zones. Angle the blade to 20 degrees, slide it into the opening, and tap to slice.
Move Along the Seam: Upon getting to the third zone, take out the blade. Re-angle it, line it up with the weld seam, and tap again to keep slicing.
Step 5: Ultimate Separation and PCB Extraction
Take Out the Inner Shell: After cutting through all welded points, detach the key’s inner shell from the fixture.
Get Prying Tools Ready: Remove the off-pin blade and place it into the clip found on the front cover.
Force Open the Rear: Put the prying tool into the groove at the key’s back. Push the implement toward the side cover to fully separate this section.
Split the Front Seam: Employ a pry knife. Insert it into the weld seam at the front. Exert pressure alternately to the left and right to fully rip apart the weld seam.
Remove the PCB: Gently take out the internal circuit board.
Outcome: The PCB remains unharmed.
