Problem 1: How to do the TeamViewer for IM608/IM508

Solution: To remotely connect to the Autel tablet device, please refer to the following procedure to operate. Here take Autel IM608 as an example.
Step 1: Open the teamviewer program-[Remote Desk]
Note: Make sure your MaxiIM IM508 or IM608 is connected to the network before doing the TeamViewer.

Step 2: After entering the software, stay in the page below until the Autel key programmer is connected from the other side (PC end)
When the ID appears, tell the other side to input this ID to connect

Step 3: PC end connect with your tablet is shown as below

When it appears “Allow remote support?”, just click on “ALLOW” to connect

Step 4: When the connection is successful, it will prompt that your device has been connected.

Problem 2: How to solve network busy problem in the IM608/IM508 update APP

The possible reason: because customer network environment can’t access Autel server, the DNS domain IP address doesn’t allow it to access autel server.

Solution:
Step 1: Select [System settings] option

Step 2: Long press the connected network and select [Modify network]

Step 3: Tick [Show advanced option] and select [Static]

Change the IP address to 8:8:8:8:8 which is google server by default

Press [Save] to save the setting

Step 4: After that, you will see the device connect to the Autel update server successfully and you can download the update normally now.

Problem 3: How to check whether the IMMO function is supported or not by IM608/IM508

Solution: Please use Function Viewer APP to solve the problem.
Step 1: Open [Function Viewer] program, it will show symbol annotation, click on “Already know”

Step 2: Select the Autel key programmer you desire, such as IM608 (IMMO)
Step 3: Scroll down to select the car brand you want
Step 4: Select the car make and select all or car model which you are looking for

Note: If you are not sure what triangle and solid circle mean, you can click on the question mark on the top right corner to get what it means. Then it will show the symbol annotation as above.
