Launch X431 IMMO Plus/Elite with “IMMO PROG” function allows you to read transponder data and generate exclusive keys, and read/write on-board EEPROM chip data and MCU/ECU chip data. X-PROG 3 is required. It’s perfect to clone Jaguar/ Land Rover 8HP45.
Devices used:
X431 IMMO Elite device (X431 IMMO Elite or X431 IMMO Plus)
DBScar VII VCI Connector
Launch X-PROG 3 immobilizer programmer kit
Other cables and adaptors in the device package
Original and new Jaguar/ Land Rover 8HP45 gearbox
Main steps:
- View Wiring Diagram
- Connect
- Backup Complete Data (EEPROM and flash data)
- Restore Complete Data (EEPROM and flash data)
- Disconnect
Turn on X431 IMMO Tablet and enter IMMO PROG function
Connect X431 IMMO Plus or X431 IMMO Elite Key Programmer and DBScar VII VCI Connector simultaneously
For Jaguar 8HP45 gearbox clone:
Select Gearbox>> Jaguar>> 8HP45
NOTE:
ECU may be damaged due to erratic reading and writing data of Bluetooth or WiFi in bench mode. Please use USB to connect the device and connector.
Step 1:
Click “View wiring diagram” and follow the instruction to connect the original Jaguar gearbox and X431 IMMO Elite/Plus and power the device on.
Step 2:
Click “Connect” and wait until the connection is successful.
Step 3:
Click “Backup Complete data” to read the original EEPROM and flash data and then save them with a new filename
Step 4:
Connect X431 IMMO Plus or Elite to a new Jaguar 8HP45 gearbox
Click “Restore Complete Data” to write the original eeprom and flash data just saved into the new gearbox
Restore data successfully.
Step 5:
Clone process is completed, click “Disconnect”
For Land Rover 8HP45 gearbox clone:
Select Gearbox>> Land Rover>> 8HP45
Pay attention to the precaution, and use USB to connect the X431 IMMO device and DBScar VII VCI Connector
Click View wiring diagram>> Connected To MCU_V3 Adapter Plate
Follow the wiring diagram to connect the original Land Rover gearbox and X431 IMMO Elite/X431 IMMO Plus Key Programmer and power the device on.
Then use the same steps as Jaguar to perform connect, backup complete data, restore complete data and disconnect functions.
