How to download, update and reset factory settings on Launch X431 tablet?

PART ONE
How to download and install X431 APP?
Method 1: via APP Init
Method 2: via Chrome
The methods are suitable for all Launch X431 tools with Android system, such as Launch CRP919E BT/ CRP919X BT, X431 PRO Elite, X431 PROS Elite, X431 PRO5 SmartLink, PRO3S+ V2.0, PRO3S+ V5.0, X431 V+ V4.0, X431 V, X431 PRO3 V3.0/ PRO3 V4.0, X431 PRO V4.0, X431 PRO 3S, PRO3 APEX, etc.
Before downloading X431 APP, make sure the WiFi is connected well to X431 device.
Tap “Setting” on the home page
Select Network & internet>> WiFi to connect an available WiFi with good signal
Method 1: via APP Init
Press the home screen and slide up
Select “APP Init”
Input the 12-digit serial number which can be found at the backside of X431 scan tool
Tap “OK” to download and install the diagnostic APP automatically
After the APP is installed successfully, tap “Open the application”
Select “Confirm” to allow X-431 to access phone, camera, location, storage, microphone…
And then tap the button to allow display over other apps
After that, tap the return button at the taskbar to go back to the main menu.
Method 2: via Chrome
Tap Chrome on the home menu
Access https://mycar.x431.com/, and select Services & Support>> Download
Select the version that match the first five digits of the device serial number
For example: X-431 PRO3S+ V2.0 ONLINE Android Download (98928)
When it prompts “Chrome needs storage access to download files”, tap “Continue”
Tap “ALLOW” to allow Chrome to access photos, media and files on your device
Tap “OK”
Tap “Details” to download files
Wait a moment until the software is downloaded
Tap the X431 APK downloaded
Click “SETTINGS” to allow your phone to install unknown apps from this source
Tap the button to allow from this source
Select the “Return” icon and select “INSTALL” to install the APP
Select “More details” and select “Install anyway”
After the APP is installed, click “OPEN”
Follow the prompts and tap “ALLOW” to allow X-431 APP to access the device’s location, take pictures and record video, phones, media and files, make and manager phone calls, and record audio
Tap the button to allow display over other apps
After that, tap the “Return” icon, and the X431 tool will start and enter the main menu
PART TWO
How to update diagnostic software for X431 tool?
Tap “Login” at the top right side
Input the available username and password, and tap “Login”
Then select Software Update>> Update to download all the vehicle diagnostic software
PART THREE
How to reset X431 tool to factory settings?
Tap “Setting” on the home page
Select System>> Advanced>> Erase all data (factory reset)>> Erase all data
Wait for the tablet to restart
Use the above method to download and install X431 APP and diagnostic software
Then the Launch X431 tool can be used normally.
