This post will demonstrate how to read data and set IMMO off for Hyundai SIM2K-341 ECM using OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool on bench.
Preparation:
- OBDSTAR DC706 main unit
- OBDSTAR P004 Adapter
- OBDSTAR ECU Bench Jumper
- Main Cable
- High-Power DC Regulated Power Supply
- Hyundai SIM2K-341 ECM
Operation:
Ensure the ECM software is updated to V31.90 or newer
Enable a stable network connection before starting the operation.
Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM V31.90
Input sim2k-341 in the search box at the top right corner to quickly find the corresponding model (HYUNDAI CONTINENTAL/SIEMENS/VDO SIM2K-341 TC1766-MPC561)
Check the instruction by clicking on “Guide”
Click “Pinout”, select “BENCH” and “P004” to check the pinout diagram

Follow the pinout to connect DC706 ECU Tool and Hyundai SIM2K-341 ECM using P004 Adapter, ECU Bench Jumper, main cable and power supply correctly
After connection, click “Start” and select “BENCH” and “P004” to perform the available functions.
Connect ECU-OK
Read and save MAPS data- OK
Set IMMO OFF-OK
- Select “MAPS”and load the MAPS file
- Follow the on-screen prompt to operate
Disconnect the ECU after all operation steps are completed.
Done!
