I received the Xtool x100 pad3 last week. I found eobdtool engineer before I bought it. After learning about this key programming tool in detail, I decided to share some of my experience when using it and some of its actual functions.
Ⅰ.Update
I connect OBD port to xtool x100 pad3 and then click “START TO ACTIVATE”.
Note: This product needs to be connected to the iinternet to be activated, so make sure your network is good.
Then check if there is any information that needs to be updated, such as the information shown in the figure, click Update all in the upper right corner and wait for the update to complete.
Ⅱ. Odometer Adjustment
Return to the main page, select “Diagnosis”>>”Odometer adjustment”, then we can see that Odometer adjustment function supports a variety of models. Obviously, I have never seen such a professional key programming tool before, and I was lucky that I purchased a key programming tool equipped with KC100, and the work was perfect.
I ran it on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the result showed that it was very fast in less than 1 minute. I also successfully completed the AKL of Camry 2017. It only took about 3 minutes. Of course, I also used the ks-1 Toyota Simulator.
Ⅲ. Overview Live Data
Next is the key point I want to talk about. If you need to view the real-time data of the car, you can follow the steps below: Select “America”>>”OBDⅡ”>>”AUTO SCAN”>>”Live Data”. Click “Select all” and choose “OK” to overview live data.
Of course, these are only part of the functions shown. For example, it can provide customers with key programming but also supplies advanced special functions.
