Programming a new key for a Honda DV350K1ZN2 motorcycle when all keys are lost requires reading PIN code directly from the anti-theft box using KEYDIY KD-X4 5-in-1 key programmer. Follow this straightforward process to generate a working KD ZB51 transponder chip.
Tools & Hardware Required
- Original Honda Motorcycle anti-theft box
- KD-MOTO Motorcycle Adapter
- KEYDIY KD-X4 Key Programmer
- KDZB51-3 Universal Smart Remote Key
- TwoDedicated Wiring Harnesses
- 12V Power Supply
Step 1: Generate Transponder Chip
1.Open the Mobile KD app, navigate to Remote Function-> Remote Test-> test-> two-color light ADV350 (K1ZN2)
2.Place KD ZB51 Universal Smart Key on KD-X4 induction coil.
3.Tap Generate-> Wireless generation to write the program onto the chip.
4.Check key status: After generation, hold the key to turn indicator red-Induction OFF, and then hold the key again to turn indicator green- Induction ON
Note: this key must be with induction on before programming.
Step 2: Wiring and Secret Key Data Extraction
1.Enter IMMO Programming -> Detug mode-> MOTOR-> HONDA-> Key Matching(21 PIN)-> Star execution
2.Check the in-app wiring diagram and solder two points on the board: TOOLS and RST.
3.Connect device and Motorcycle board correctly
- Attach the dedicated harnesses to the soldered points
- Connect the board to KEYDIY KD-MOTO Motorcycle Adapter using jumper (included in KD-MOTO Adapter pack)
- Connect KD-MOTO Adapter to KEYDIY KD-X4 via connecting cable (included in KD-MOTO Adapter pack)
- Connect the 12V power supplyto KD-MOTO Adapter
4.Select [Read PIN Code], save the displayed key codes.
Step 3: Key Learning & Data Verification
1.Tap [All Keys Discarded].
2.Type in the original key code saved in Step 2 to execute the key matching routine.
3.Click [Read PIN Code] again to verify that the newly written key matches the system data.
4.Back to the main menu and select [Chip Function]
5.Put the programmed KD ZB51 key into the induction coil of KD-X4 programmer
6.Select Automatic Detection Clone-> Start identifying
7.Click the chip type identified, the pin code matches the previous data.
