Issue:
OBDSTAR fails to bypass the PIN code for a 2021- Mitsubishi Outlander using the Nissan 40-pin cable.
The solution:
Method 1: Buy pin
Method 2: Read 28-digit pin code from HFM module
Here we will guide you the method 2.
What you’ll need:
- OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 or X300 Pro4
- OBDSTAR RH850/V850 Adapter Kit
- MP001 Programmer
- 12V High-power DC Regulated Power Supply
- Main cable
- 2021-Mitsubishi Outlander HFM (EB30001043)
Procedure:
1.Software Preparation:
Update Mitsubishi immobilizer software to the latest version.
2.Tool Selection:
On the OBDSTAR, navigate to: Mitsubishi -> Manual Select Model -> China -> Outlander -> Proximity -> 2021- -> Read PinCode (C4-06)
3.MCU Selection:
When prompted, select the correct HFM processor MCU: R7F7010193.
4.Hardware Preparation:
Carefully remove the HFM module from the vehicle.
5.Adapter Connection:
Solder OBDSTAR C4-06 adapter onto the HFM module following the wiring diagram.
6.System Connection:
Connect C4-06 adapter to OBDSTAR MP001 programmer, which is then connected to X300 Classic G3 key programmer.
Important:
Use the original, unmodified decryption cable to prevent connection issues.
7.Read PIN:
Power the setup and execute the function.
The system will successfully read the 28-digit PIN code from the HFM module.
Save the pin code
