Operation guide:
Plug the power supply to P50, and keep in charging and network communication in the whole process.
Menu function path:
Select Airbag Reset>> All>> BATTERY RESET>> BATTERY RESET V30.06 (newest version)>> AUDI
Check the Part Number on the ECU label, and select the corresponding option on tablet- BMS 8R0915233 D76F0192 [BENCH]
Follow the Pinout to connect P50 main unit, P004 adapter, main cable and ECU via P004 jumper
Start to perform the following operations:
Step 1: Read ECU information
Check if the part number is consistent with the ECU
Step 2: Read DTC
Check fault code. There is a crash fault code “!!!Crash shut-down activated!!!”
Step 3: Read EEPROM (D76F0192) in the advanced function
Read and save the original eeprom data
After that, disconnect the 12V power supply of P004 adapter (turn off the ignition) and wait for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it (turn on the ignition).
Step 4: Erase crash
Erase crash successfully
Step 5: Read DTC again
Check if the crash fault code still exists.
Now there is no crash DTC. Audi BMS crash history is erased by OBDSTAR P50 airbag reset tool successfully.
